While our primary goal is to provide Scouts with an active, challenging, educational and most importantly FUN outdoor program we recognize that safety must come first!
Adult Leadership & The Buddy System in Camp
Every troop is required to have a minimum of two leaders in camp at all times. One MUST be 21 Years or Older and One 18+. Scouts use the buddy system AT ALL TIMES while at Camp Hinds.
Sign In & Sign Out
Scouts, Leaders & Visitors leaving/entering the camp at ANYTIME must Sign In & Out of the Camp Office. NO Scout will be released without permission of his parent or guardian.
Youth Protection Guidelines
Youth Protection Guidelines as established by the Pine Tree Council and the BSA, ARE TO BE ENFORCED AT ALL TIMES. Any physical, emotional, sexual or neglectful abuse must be reported to the Camp Director immediately so the proper steps can be taken to protect the Scout.
